Sierra Kopp is a new author that writes Christian historical fiction. She is fond of deviating from her main genre to do side projects like mystery and fantasy, as well as the occasional fan-fiction, but none of these have been published yet!

Sierra began writing not through stories, but through letters. As a child, she and her older siblings would create letters, pretending to be grand ladies or fine gentleman. They would type out the letters on their grandpa’s typewriter, then knock on a bedroom door with a “postman delivery.” Even when her siblings grew out of the game, Sierra did not forget the letters, nor her grandpa’s typewriter. Her first story—how a wild horse gets captured—was less than two pages and was written on that typewriter.

From then on, she started stories here and there for her own amusement, and was largely inspired by her older sister, who has two published books. Some of these were original, while others were fan-fics written on Wattpad.

Sierra began to write with the intention of publishing after being inspired by a prophetic word from two separate people: a stranger from Bethel Church in CA, and a strong Christian friend of her mom’s. In late December of 2021, she joined the online Self-Publishing School based out of Greenville, SC. One year later, she is now publishing her first novel, “Meeting Destiny,” the first book of the series “Destiny’s Mysteries.”
